happy for Finau, he's too good to not have won for so long. Lost in the playoff at Riveria to Homa, not today.... was his day. Great up and down at 18, nailed the 6 footer to get into the playoff. Smith's an affable guy, hard to watch that tee shot in the playoff

"It's more massive I think for just my sense of accomplishment," he said. "It's hard losing, and it's hard losing in front of the world. I've done it already a couple of times this year. That made me more hungry. If it doesn't discourage you, it makes you more hungry. You guys keep telling me, 'When are you going to win again?' That makes me more hungry.
"It all equals up to now. It was time for me to win again."

Smith:
"Just a terrible swing, mate," he said. "My driver has cost me a few tournaments this year. That makes me more determined to try and figure it out before the end of the year."

“I think what Bryson has done is unprecedented in the game,” Woods said. “No one has changed their entire philosophy and how they’ve approached the game of golf. And he came into it with a different mindset to begin with. He came in with more of a technical science type of attitude, and he’s now expounded on that and has been able to utilize all the different types of technology that’s available to him.

“What he’s done, he’s proven that it works. And to go out on that limb is very courageous.”

“He can take this game to levels that we would’ve never guessed,” he continued. “We’ve never guessed that someone would be hitting the ball as far as he does, or approach it with the attitude that he does, to morph his body into what he has. And he’s proven it. He’s won a U.S. Open. And now, the future is so bright, and he’s right in his prime. He can win so many events and win so many more majors, and it’s gonna be fun to watch.

dunno, does he have it between the ears?

^I read that. Cantlay seems like a pretty good dude.

East Lake wagers for me are Rahm to win, JT top 5, Xander and Rory top 10.
Rahm starts 65-65, what an animal.

Should be a really good finish. Hoping Xander can go low today.

agrred HC, Cantlay seems like a good guy, i knew nothing about him. I agree with much of what he said ,kudos for him here;

"I am going to give it back to the people that made it possible in some way, shape or form. I won’t take any of the PIP money," he said. "I think it’s kind of ridiculous and I think it’s, when I said there’s a symptom of a larger problem, I think that’s exactly what I’m talking about."

I dont agree with him in the sympathy for DeChambeau part- lot of it is self-induced. Bryson never should have responded to Brooks, he did tho not surprinsginly , as he's very much a 'knee-jerk reaction' kinda guy. He lowered himself to Brooks' childish level-reap what u sow.

I thought Cantlay handled himself with class last Sunday regarding the incident on the 14th fairway when Bryson said ; 'stop walking Patrick' . lol. Cnatlay made nothing of it, didnt rattle him, and after the tournament refused to make a big deal of it.

DeChambeau , imo, needs a bit of growing up. He didnt have to freak out like that on Cantaly, just move off the ball. He didnt have to take a shot at Cobra Golf and blame the driver at the British Open. One thing after the other with this guy.

a) improve course management . he hits driver when he doesnt need to hit it, when risk -reward says hit your 3 wood 285yds in the fairway
b) more calm , less emotional on course. Just seems like a spaz out there at times. Hit an errant drive last week and the mic caught his reaction; 'why is it goign left'. LOL, u for real guy?

Go Rahm!!!!!!!!

havent had a bet on Rory in mths HC, he loves this place so maybe..gl. He and JT are bipolar on the greens

Had Bryson last week 28/1. Choke city, never again.

I kinda wanna try those Jumbo Max grips, but having Douchebeau as the only spokesperson hasn’t allowed me to pull the trigger, yet…

What’s you guys favorite oversized grip. Looking to hopefully ease some hand pain I’ve been having for weeks after rounds. I grip the club too tight in general, and just like the feel of larger grips, even though my hand size may not say so…
